Our Constitution

The Way Home Recovery stands as a Christ-centered sanctuary where sobriety and spiritual renewal walk hand-in-hand.

Governed democratically by its residents, this house is not ruled by hierarchy but by humility, prayerful discernment, and mutual respect. Every decision—whether financial, communal, or structural—is made collectively, with each voice valued and each role designed to serve rather than control. In this sacred space, accountability is embraced as a gift, not a burden, and grace is the foundation upon which growth is built.

No resident shall be asked to leave without just cause, and even in moments of conflict, the heart of the house beats toward restoration.

Though unaffiliated with any denomination or recovery organization, The Way Home Recovery encourages active engagement in Christian fellowship, Bible study, and Celebrate Recovery, believing that true healing flows from both spiritual transformation and the strength of community.

Financially self-sustaining, each resident contributes equally to the home’s upkeep, with full transparency and shared responsibility.

There are no paid staff, no clinical services—only the power of shared experience, the wisdom of accountability, and the grace of God guiding every step.

This is not merely a sober living house; it is a living testimony to redemption, where men rebuild their lives with dignity, faith, and purpose.
